Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Krabi, Ko Phi Phi, Ko Samui, Ko Tao, Bangkok, and everywhere between 4/28-5/16

So after the uneventful new beginning I set out to meet up with my friend Emma-Lee Srdev in Singapore. We hung out for a couple days and then made our way to Kuala Lumpur for only 9us by two busses taking around 7 hours. We stayed there for a day and then wanted to bounce. We decided to head separate ways, I heading to Thailand and the Islands while she went to Georgetown Malaysia. I got to Thailand by an overnight train for around 15us, ripoff, and arrived in Hat Yai which is just outside the border from Malaysia. Upon arriving I met a cool Canadian helicopter pilot named Lukas Reye who then traveled with me for a bit. We got a bus to Krabi for 250B which is about 8us, not bad, and hung out there at Pak up hostel for 200B a night which was amazing. The place has beer pong, pool table, and a really cool lounge for backpackers to kick it in style. I then realized I had a cyst on my side and decided to take care of it with a needle pop zit sort of surgery thing. Got done murdering my side and needed a slice open proper clean but didn't have any of the necessities. So we then decided to hop on a boat and head to Ko Phi Phi. On the boat where a couple of characters that stood out and we all had a killer kick off conversation. Quaid Blake, Jason Haefeli, and Mackay Osbourne Heldt where those characters and we all congregated to find a place to stay. We found a killer place on the beach for 2000B for all of us and stayed for two crazy nights. Rented a monkey, saw Quaid fight in a Thai boxing match, hoped around the islands on long tail boat, kayaked around to a crazy dirty beach, jumped off rocks, went to the hospital to take care of my side, and then split up to go to the other side of Thailand with more island adventures. Jason, Quaid, and Lukas went to Phucket while Mac and I went to Krabi to Ko Samui. When Mac and I got into Krabi we stayed at Pak Up and then got a bus boat trip to Ko Samui. We got to Ko Samui and a French traveller named Tibo Martini joined in on the fun. All three of us hitch hiked to Chewang beach side and went out to a crazy street filled with hookers and lady boys which was eventfully sexually mind changing. We hung out for another day while my side hole started to heal up and Jason and Quaid rolled in to meet up for some more island adventures. Jason and I rode around the whole island on scooters which were 150B/day then we got back to the hostel which is 200B/night to meet up with Clare Hohne from England, Digby and Jessica Bam from Durban, and Darren Aitchison from Scotland. We all congregated and went out on the town. The next day Jason and I kicked it while Mac smacked a Sea Urchin with his hand and Darren cut his foot when traveling around the Island. We then all grouped up and went out to a Black Moon party which was a blast to see a drummer play to a DJ. The next day Clare, Mac, Quaid, Jason and I headed to Ko Tao for some diving. We got there and found a place to stay while finding an amazing diving place, Mantalay Resort and Diving, that had amazing staff, Robert Coltrane and his crew, to teach us how to dive. Jason, Mac, and I then got our open water certification in 2 days of intense studying and 4 quick dives. Jason, Clare, and I then did the advanced in 2 more days which we went to a ship, 30m, the ocean at night, and couple fun cruise around Navigation and picture dives. Amazing. After the last dive we grabbed Quaid and headed out to Bangkok via boat bus 13hr extravaganza. Arrived in Bangkok at 3am and got to our hostel for a nice sleep to then waking up to a crazy day of hoping around Bangkoks Ko San Rd. where Jason got a sick tatto, Siem center mall that has every electronic device and camera up to date, Sala Daeng which has cheap food and cheap Thai massages, and the Sarusk area. Bangkok is crazy fun of two worlds. The rich upper people and the crazy lower class that both sides are selling things everywhere you turn. The hostel we stayed at is called Sapphi Pi and was only 200B/night which is the nicest hostel I've stayed besides Pak Up. The place is super clean, air-con, and has really comfortable beds. After the crazy day Jason flew back home to the US, Clare and Quaid got ready to head up to Chang Mai, and I headed out to go to Cambodia.

Some thoughts:
You'll find me underwater chasing after a giant sting ray with my go pro and I don't even realize that I'm 100 feet below. It's so cool being underwater so deep and hearing yourself breath while the fish around look at you like your an alien in a different world. You are in a different world. You are an alien to this environment. I love this new feeling and want to stay down forever looking at all the new crazy marine science.

Bye for now...
Sorry about the pics being scattered
